Through ArteNews, people learn more about
the unique arts, viewpoints and cultures of a region that is rarely covered
and often mis-represented in the US. ArteNews is a valuable resource for
artists, academics, researchers, students and the curious alike to hear
the local voices of and about the region. From in-depth articles to an
extensive listing of events and happenings around the globe, ArteEast
and ArteNews strive to be a valuable resource on the Middle East.
ArteNews is looking for artists, critics and art-lovers to submit articles
up to 1000 words on art and culture-related topics of their choices and
report on gallery openings, festivals, events, performances, etc.
Articles should be about current issues and provide background and be
put into historical context, if necessary.
Besides articles, we are looking for individuals to look out for and find
events that are happeing all overthe world, as they pertain the the Middle
East.
We strongly encourage individuals living outside the US to participate,
as we are striving to provide the most accurate, updated and involved
information. We believe that writers living in the Middle East can provide
valuable insight and perspective.
