| Synopsis: |

| Hager,
a 60 year old widow of a Tunisian migrant wakes up in her apartment
on a Parisian morning enwrapped in memories of her sister and youth
in Tunisia. Those were the beautiful days, when life was full of promise
and Mahmoud, a young Tunisian immigrant to Paris promised her love
and bliss. In Arabic with English subtitles |

Biography: |

| Meriem
Riveill was born in Algiers in 1976, and grew up in Tunisia. She completed
her studies in scriptwriting and directing in Paris (Paris VIII- Saint-Denis)
in 2001. She also worked as an assistant to renonwed Tunisian filmmaker,
Nacer Khemir. Beautiful Days is her first short-fiction film. |
