Synopsis:
 

While transporting jugs of milk for sale in the big city, a farmer’s car breaks down. The local mechanic takes advantage of his ignorance and swindles the poor farmer out of his milk. A biting comedy of comeuppance. In Arabic w/English subtitles.


Filmmaker’s Biography:
 
Yahia Mouzahem is an accomplished director, actor and scriptwriter. After completing a degree in hydrolic engineering, Yahia Mouzahem turned to filmmaking. He has directed numerous short films, including Oranges (2003; featured at the first CinemaEast Film Festival in 2005), One Day Two Nights (2002), New Adventures 1 (2001) and Me, Her and the Others (2001), among others. He has also worked as an assistant director on various productions, including Il était une fois dans l’oued, by Djamel Ben Salah and Mimouna, by Nadia Cherabi. His acting credits include roles in such films as Babor D'zair by Merzak Allouache, Regard d’enfant by L’amine Merbah, Mimouna by Nadia Cherabi and Morituri by Okacha Touita.
