Fall 2003:

Cinema East presents a nine month-long film series starting in September, 2003. Held in collaboration with the department of Middle East Studies at New York University, Cinema East features a diverse array of films from the Middle East and their diaspora. The program is showcased in New York and is scheduled to later travel to film and art institutions throughout the country.

Join us for a program of exciting films and stimulating post-screening discussions.

The film series places every other week, beginning Saturday, September 13, 2003. All screenings and panel discussions take place at the Cantor Film Center at New York University. Selected by a screening committee composed of both NYU students and members of the community, the films reflect the diverse cinematic traditions of the region.
