Sleep
(Uyku) by Deniz Buga. Turkey, 2005, 15 min, Beta SP
This lyrical black-and-white film movingly evokes
the pain of loss and longing. The exquisite landscape surrounds
and eventually engulfs this wordless love, so that all that is left
is sleep. No dialogue.
