Volunteer Opportnnities

Become a volunteer for the Cinema East Film Festival! Volunteers will be a crucial part of this year’s Festival. Get a taste of the world of festival life and the film industry, use your skills, and make interesting connections.

There are many ways to get involved:

Participate in Festival planning
•Log tapes, serve as liaisons to filmmakers, distribute program brochures and posters, and assist with print traffic.
•Support the CinemaEast staff with publicity, community outreach, and press contacts

Participate in Festival events
•Screenings--monitoring the theater and assisting with audience flow, ushering, ticket taking
•Special events—work at special screenings, forums, parties, filmmaker Q&A sessions, and other special events
•Assist with hospitality of visiting filmmakers and other festival guests
•Organize transportation and accommodation for visiting filmmakers and other Festival guests
•Assist with print traffic management
•Distribute programs at key locations
•Facilitate press and media contacts
