Biography:
Mahmoud Zenderoudi ( Zende) was born in Tehran in 1943. He began his artistic career by creating works of calligraphy with his older brother. He became a journalist after graduating from high school, produced radio broadcasts and moved into television in 1969. His first major exhibitions were at the 2nd Biennial of Teheran and the International Exhibition of Tehran in 1970. After Zende left Iran in 1978 to settle in the South of France, he devoted himself entirely to his art taking on various mediums. He has had exhibits throughout Europe and the United States. His work can be found in private collections in Canada, France, Germany and the USA
