Bio:
Annabel Daou (b. 1967) is an artist whose recent solo exhibitions include "AMERICA" at Josee Bienvenu Gallery, in New York, "ideas about the thing and the thing itself" at Gallery Joe in Philadelphia,"The Last Painting Show" at the Conduit Gallery, in Dallas, TX, and "Fleshpots", at Entwistle Gallery, London. As a founding member of the "dB foundation" which is dedicated to creating and fostering imaginary edifices and intangible sculptures, Daou co-curated "Aporia" at the EFA Gallery in New York in 2006 and is working on an ongoing archival project entitled, "Ruined Cities". Daou was born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon and moved to New York in 1999.
