ArteEast recognizes that film is one of the most accessible artistic mediums and the breadth of our film programming reflects this. We curate film programs—on both thematic and geographic areas of interest—that tour internationally, and we welcome inquiries from theaters and institutions that may be interested in screening our films. We act as consultants for institutions that would like to arrange public screenings, arrange private screenings for specific films and speak or arrange panels discussing the history and current trends in cinema from the region. Our online film program makes important or new short films accessible to web users anywhere in the world and our online database is a central resource on films by filmmakers from the Middle East and its diasporas.
