In this beautifully drawn animated short, the sun beats down on a reflective expanse of sand, and a muscle-bound man strains to inch his load up the steep incline. What begins as an overwhelming burden becomes a labor of determination and freedom.

Filmmaker's Biography
Iranian cartoonist Hamid Bahrami was born in Khoramshahr in 1972 and began his career as an animator, storyboard artist, art director and director in 1995. After graduating from the Isfahan Fine Arts School, he earned his B.A. in painting from the Art University of Tehran. He is a founding member of the White Crow Cartoon Group and the Bamdad Animation Studio and was a teacher at the Iran House of Cartoon from 1997 until 2005.
