Synopsis
An engaging video where the artist reflects on how the lived experience of a population in war becomes reconstructed as “news stories,” playfully contrasting the personal and collective drama or trauma, and challenging the anonymity that broadcast news affords Israeli soldiers engaged in combat.

Filmmaker's Biography
Hisham Jaber  graduated with a degree in Dramatic Arts from the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts (ALBA). He has written and directed four plays, Cola, Barbir, Mathaf, Dawra (2002), Solo or Solo (2003), Arabic Bread (2005) and The Death of Najib Brax (2005). His video work includes A Hit (2002) and Live (2006).
