World Refugee Day: UNRWA at 60 Art Exhibition and Prize GivingAl-Hoash (Palestinian Art Court)June 18, 2009 7:00 PM Al Hoash Gallery, Az-Zahra street/ Jerusalem UNRWA marks its 60th anniversary on 9 December 2009. To commemorate this event, UNRWA, in partnership with Al-Hoash (Palestinian Art Court), announced a poster competition on the theme of 'We Are', and encouraged all Palestinian artists between 18035 from the West Bank, Gaza, Joran Syria, Lebanon or the wider Diaspora to participate and submit fresh innovative pieces which emphasize the humanity and the individualism of the Palestine refugee experience. The exhibition on the 18th will showcase some of the artworks received in the course of the completion on the theme of 'We Are' and the winners of the poster competition will be announced . |
